The Rising Kejriwal Scheme or Political Vendetta. What You Must Know About English Spoken Classes

The Delhi government is planning to start spoken English courses in 50 centers across the city. This was announced by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday. He said that the aim of these courses is to help people, especially those from lower-income backgrounds, improve their communication skills.

Kejriwal also added that the government will provide scholarships to students who perform well in these courses. This is definitely great news for all those who are looking to improve their English-speaking skills! But what more do we know!!

A Start Towards Success

Delhi is set to begin teaching its residents spoken English in an effort to improve employability and communication skills. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced the initiative Saturday, stating that the program will be open to anyone aged 18-35 who has completed high school. The course will be available at 50 centers across the city, with one lakh spots open in the first phase.

While some may view English as the Language of Colonialism, for many in Delhi, it represents opportunity – offering a chance at better jobs and prospects for advancement. In a rapidly globalizing world, the ability to communicate in English has become essential for success.

For those without access to private education or expensive tutors, this program could be life-changing. It is yet another example of the Aam Aadmi Party’s commitment to improving the lives of all Delhi residents.

Admission Fees & Shifts

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has issued a statement clarifying that those aged between 16 and 35 years, who have passed Class 12, can take admitted to this course.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal informed that there will be no course fee but initially, people will have to deposit Rs 950 as security money. A refund of the security money will be issued once the course has been successfully completed with full attendance. It will last three to four months, with weekend and evening shifts available for those who work.

Basic Requirements Needed

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University will be running a course that requires a basic understanding of English for admission. The program will be assessed by Cambridge University. The benefit of the course is that it will be an international-standard program. The difficulties that lower-middle-class and middle-class families endure because of the lack of ability to speak English fluently, create barriers to accessing jobs.

The objectives of the new course are to improve employability skills and provide opportunities regardless of economic background. Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, has released a statement saying that the city government’s university will give students the tools they need to succeed in a competitive economy.

Breaking the Societal Barriers

By taking this initiative, the government plans to break down social barriers and build an inclusive society.  Those enrolled in the program must have studied English up to Class 8th in order to be eligible for admission into the course. This new opportunity will allow people from all walks of life to improve their language skills and communication abilities, giving them a better chance at success in their chosen field.
