The much-awaited film “Satluj”, directed by Honey Trehan and starring Diljit Dosanjh, has been removed from streaming in India just days after its OTT debut. The development has reignited a nationwide discussion on censorship, artistic freedom, and the portrayal of sensitive historical events.
Originally announced as “Ghallughara” and later renamed “Punjab ’95”, the film was eventually released under the title “Satluj” after facing years of certification disputes.
